Update from Mom

Doctor hasn’t come in yet; but his vitals are good. He has a good appetite and the strength seems to be coming back in his legs. I feel encouraged!

Just saw the doctor and he was encouraged by the progress Paul has made. “Possibly” going home tomorrow.
Vitals good, appetite good, and he had gained strength in his legs.

The doctor does want him to use oxygen from now on….

And we think he could benefit from some physical therapy.

I am so encouraged by this news, I have been COVID positive for 7 days now, feeling somewhat better myself, just super sick of this cough!

The doctor thinks Dad has had COVID the last couple of weeks and that is the reason he has had such a rough time. Lonny and Mom still seem symptom free. Thanks be to God!!!

Update from Mom:

Haven’t seen the doctor yet, but Paul’s vitals are still good. He ate a good breakfast and says he feels better. His alertness is still not where I would like for it to be and I’m not sure about his stability. When I can get someone to help me, I’m going to give him a shower.
He has enjoyed all the birthday wishes. A big smile came on his face when he saw Roman’s video.
I’ll give him his cards after the shower.

1:45 pm Just saw the doctor. He is pleased with Paul’s progress. Can’t give us a timeline for release.
We got him up for a shower and he is still unstable.
