Kingston is doing really well. We got to spend sometime with him this last weekend. What a little piece of humanity. He is such a good baby, eating all the time, sleeping good and growing!

Sept 6 2022 KAM update
The Milioto’s are finally home in Katy recuperating. Kingston is adorable.

Roman got home from school and got to meet his little brother at last!

Sept 5 2022 update on Kingston
Susan reported that Kingston has been released from the NICU!!

Susan and Andre are resting today at her Dad’s house in Corpus Christi and will bring Kingston home to Katy tomorrow.

Sept 4 2022 update on KAM
Susan called this morning and she was going to take some milk to the hospital and hoped to be able to hold Kingston. He still has a feeding tube. The tests so far does not show blockage, so we are hopeful his little stomach will wake up and he can keep food down.

Update on Kingston

9/4/2022 noon – They removed the feeding tube and Susan is breast feeding every 2-3 hours until he is released from the NICU. The follow up tests are positive and Susan is hopeful they can head home sooner than expected.
Kingston Anthony Milioto
Kingston was born yesterday September 2, 2022 in Corpus Christi to Susan and Andre Milioto. Susan was 40 weeks pregnant and having trouble getting induced at Texas Woman’s due to a nurse shortage. Momma Teen, Susan’s stepmom is an OB-Gyn and was able to get Susan admitted right away. Labor and delivery went pretty well, Kingston was born at 1:43 pm weighing 7lbs 12 oz. Around 21 inches long.

When we talked to Susan last night, she was tired but so excited to get her little guy home. This morning we got a text that things were rough during the night and KAM was not keeping anything down so they transferred him to NICU.

We are praying this is just newborn stomach immaturity…

Sept 15
Dad is still recuperating at home, we took him to the pulmonary doctor last week and got him switched to a company that has a smaller mobile oxygen concentrator. Much more manageable than hauling a huge tank around! We were quite a sight getting Dad in his lite wheelchair and that giant tank out of the car and into the doctors office.

Monday September 13, Dad went back to the hospital for an out patient procedure to address the grapefruit sized cyst in his colon. They put a drain in and sent us home with instructions to follow up with the
ordering physician to get it removed. That appointment is next Monday. Mom has been a trooper helping Dad drain and record how much fluid has been removed. She has to flush the exterior port daily so it doesn’t get blocked. When I called to check on them tonight, Mom said Dad starts off the day doing pretty good but by early evening he is worn down, no appetite and miserable. So the yo-yo goes…..please continue to pray that Dad can get his body healed. We are planning a makeup birthday celebration this Sunday with the family that can come, looking forward to happier times.

8:30 pm- Mom and Dad are finally home from the hospital with oxygen…
Mom started feeling crummy Sunday night, we suspect she is also battling the virus. Toughest cookies I know! Please continue to pray for strength and healing!!
I am also much better, still have a cough but much better than last week.

Mom reports that Dad is feeling much better.
At noon Mom reported: We were hoping to go home today, but medical wheels grind
slowly. The pulmonologist wanted a walking oxygen test which was just finished. The results are he will need oxygen when we go home. Not a surprise. Everything else looks good.
